In the lead up to the next few posts that I’m planning to make, I feel compelled to explain the lack of activity here over the past few years…
2020 – as I don’t think I need to explain, left me with a large amount of free-time to work on projects (the subject an of aforementioned upcoming post) — and was actually a fairly productive period. However the following years were a different story; I came back to a job that I didn’t love, and that left me drained creatively. I still found time to game, and work on projects, but never enough for postmortems, or really any formal writing. And thus, this site withered.
At present I’m pursuing a degree in Computer Science, and in much better condition, enjoying the process and my studies — this has reinvigorated my desire for more formal writing, and especially to dissect the projects I worked at in the intervening years. I also feel driven — with the absolute breakdown of social media sites, to put my words somewhere less impermanent, where they aren’t being sold for immoral ends.
With that said (and with no guarantee) expect some further writings to appear soon.
